How TrainShare works

Scan your train ticket and we read the train, date and stations for you. Or enter your details with your PNR, and an admin checks them.

  2. Join your Journey Room

You join the rooms for your train and date, alongside the other passengers on board.

  3. Connect and help out

Chat, post what you need or can offer, and rate your co-passengers afterwards.

Common questions

How do I find passengers on my train?
Install TrainShare, add your journey, and you join the Journey Room for that train and date. Anyone else who added the same journey is in the room with you.
Is TrainShare free?
Yes. TrainShare is free to download on Google Play and the App Store, and free to use on the web.
Can I book train tickets on TrainShare?
No. TrainShare does not sell tickets. It connects people who already have a journey planned.
Is TrainShare part of Indian Railways or IRCTC?
No. TrainShare is a private company's app. It is not affiliated with, authorised by or endorsed by Indian Railways, IRCTC or the Government of India.
What if someone behaves badly?
You can rate or report a co-passenger from their profile. Before you meet anyone or share a cab, use your own judgement and verify the details yourself, as you would with any stranger.
